CruiseCanary requests your location only when needed to provide features such as nearby sea conditions, ocean temperatures, or beach information. Location access is optional and can be changed at any time in your device's Settings app.
CruiseCanary stores very little personal information. Certain forecast data, downloaded maps, and itinerary information may be cached locally on your device to improve performance. Most information is requested from trusted public data sources in real time and is not permanently stored by us.
CruiseCanary relies on trusted third-party services to provide ocean conditions, weather information, travel advisories, ship schedules, and Apple subscription services. These providers operate under their own privacy policies.
CruiseCanary is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. The app does not require user accounts or ask users to provide personal information in order to use its core features.
